Is our data safe with you?
We work on your premises with what you already have — we're not asking you to hand data to a third-party platform to run an assessment. Pentarch is based in Canada and follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for how we handle personal data; where Quebec's Law 25 applies to your business, our AI-use policy work is written with that context in mind. Is this going to replace our staff?
No — that's not what the roadmap is built to do. The point of the week is to find the repetitive, manual work (re-typing, chasing the same email pattern, copying between spreadsheets) and free your people from it, not to replace them. Part of the honest answer, every time, is telling you where AI doesn't belong in your business.
We already use some AI tools — do we still need this?
Most businesses we work with already have something running informally — someone's using a chatbot, someone's tried a plugin. The Week assesses what's already in place and builds the roadmap around it rather than starting from zero or replacing what already works. New software only enters the plan when it earns its place over what you're already paying for.
How long does this take?
Four days on your premises (Monday–Thursday), ending with a readout for ownership on Friday and a working version of the plan for your team. You have the written roadmap and policy starter in hand by the end of that week.
What happens after the week is over?
You keep the roadmap and the AI-use policy starter regardless of what you decide next. If you want help building the top items, that's a separately-scoped Automation Build Sprint; if you want ongoing support, that's an AI Retainer. Neither is required — plenty of businesses take the plan and run it themselves.
Do you build the automations yourselves, or just tell us what to do?
Either. The roadmap is designed to be usable on its own — a plan your own people can carry out. If you'd rather have us build it, the Automation Build Sprint is a separate, fixed-scope engagement for the top items on the roadmap.
Are you going to try to sell us software?
No — Pentarch doesn't resell tools or take a margin on software. We work with what you already have wherever possible; the roadmap only recommends new software when it's genuinely the best answer for a given process, and that recommendation is yours to act on or ignore.
Does the AI-use policy cover PIPEDA / Quebec's Law 25?
